--Philip H. Vickery, 71, of 2225 N. County Road-W, died Tuesday morning in Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, after a short illness.
--He was born June 4, 1930, in Logansport, Ind., and was the son of Bruce and Margaret Kennedy Vickery.
--Mr. Vickery was a Navy veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict, and was retired from Anchor Glass Co. in Winchester after 30 years of service.
--He also was employed by DMI Warehouse in Muncie. Mr. Vickery was a traffic analyst and belonged to several area traffic clubs.
--Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Rebecca Grannon Vickery of Parker City; four daughters, Michelle Sanborn, Ducansville, Texas, Jennifer Swingley (husband: Scott), Muncie, Amy Moulton (husband: Ben), Muncie, and Elizabeth Clarke (husband: Robert), Aurora, Colo.; five grandchildren; two sisters, Agnes Gregory, Logansport, and Alice Neff, Culver, Ind., and several nieces and nephews.
--Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Thornburg/Lightner Funeral Home on Ind. 32, between Farmland and Parker City. Pastor Randy Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at Maxville.
--The family will receive callers from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the Thornburg/Lightner Funeral Home.
--Memorials made be made to the American Heart Association, in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thornburg/Lightner Funeral Home.
