He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Vera; children Roger Oehler (Emily) and Cyndea Hunter (Jim); granddaughter Chanel Blackledge; great-grandson Peyton; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Oehler was a member of the greatest generation and served his country during World War II in Germany and France, as a member of the 80th Airborne Battalion.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
SERVICE
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 8th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South followed by interment in Mission Burial Park South.
