Catherine Geraldine Fitzgerald "Gerry", 87, died November 27, 2015 at the Ernest Barka Assisted Living, Brentwood, NH. She was born May 17, 1928 in Everett, MA., daughter of the late James Casey and Margaret (MacDonald) Casey. She was orphaned and raised by Miss Pauline Ryan of Arlington, MA.
She grew up in Arlington, MA. and married James F. Fitzgerald of Malden, MA. They raised their children in Woburn, MA. She was an active member of St. Barbara's Church. She was employed as a food and beverage manager for Fenway Hotel and Harvard Club of Boston. She also managed the restaurant and functions at Brickyard Inn in Laconia. Gerry also sold insurance for Combined Life Insurance Co. which had her traveling all over NH. She wed a second time to Louis Ennor. She was a volunteer "Grandparent Assistant" at the Christian School in Milford and the catholic School in Hampton, NH. She was a talented crafter and loved to dance and play the piano.
She was predeceased by her husbands, James and Louis, sister, Mary Jane Ahern and brother, Harold Casey. She is survived by her eight children and their spouses, James F. and Judith Fitzgerald of S. Weymouth, MA., Dennis M. and Patricia Fitzgerald of Hampton, NH, Daniel T. and Diane Fitzgerald of Townsend, MA., Paul E. and Lisa Fitzgerald of Raymond, NH, Barry J. and Pamela Fitzgerald of Purcellville, VA., Laura Coburn of Woonsocket, RI., John E. Fitzgerald of Matlacha, FL., and Kevin C. Fitzgerald of Franconia, NH, 15 Grandchildren, Cassandra Caza, Richard and Patrick Fitzgerald, Erin and Daniel Fitzgerald, Ryan and Shannon Fitzgerald, Meaghan Fitzgerald, Shawn and Caitlyn Fitzgerald, and Tina, Ericka, Codi, Daniel, and Eric Coburn, 9 great grandchildren, a sister, Alice Smith and husband, Robert of Pittsburgh, PA. and her family, a brother, John D'Ambrosia and his wife, Gerry and his family and several nieces and nephews.
A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 10:00-11:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 200 Pleasant St., Epping, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Epping, NH.
