Oliver Jackson, 76, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015 at his home in Corbin.

Born in Blackmont, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Charlie Jackson and Dorothy Mills Foley. He was also preceded in death by an infant brother.

Oliver was a member of the First Pentecostal Church and had been a truck driver for the Pennington Concrete Block Co.

He is survived by his wife Ruby Hammack Jackson; two daughters, Sue Carter and husband Willie of Cumming, Georgia, and Teresa Chesnut and husband Tooter of Annville, KY; three sons, Herbert Henson and wife Darla of Indianapolis, Indiana, Mike Hammack and wife Darlene of Corbin, and Darrell Delph of Corbin; two brothers, Spencer Foley and wife Pat of Corbin and George Foley and wife Abbie of Barbourville; mother-in-law Maggie Hopkins of Corbin; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 pm Saturday, Dec. 5th, until the time of the Funeral at 3pm Saturday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Elliott and Rev. Johnny Farmer officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lynn Camp Cemetery.
