Evelyn N. Hunter, 100 1/2, of Ligonier, formerly of Greensburg, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, at Ligonier Gardens Personal Care Home, Ligonier. She was born April 28, 1915, in Ligonier, a daughter of the late William and Ruth (Perkey) Lemmon. Prior to retirement, she worked at the former Mountain View Inn, Greensburg. She was the oldest member of Latrobe Presbyterian Church and was a founding member of Caring Christians at the church. "Aunt Evelyn" was a lady of many talents. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and knitting and making flower arrangements and note cards. Evelyn enjoyed her home, working with her flowers and taking care of birds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Hunter; and three brothers, Fred, David and William Lemmon. She is survived by her sister, Ruthe Bowser-Butts, of Youngstown; and the following nieces and nephews: Dr. Evelyn P. Lemmon, of Ligonier; Scott Lemmon, of Ligonier; Mark Lemmon and wife, Carol, of Waverly, N.Y., and their children, Matthew and Catie; David Lemmon and wife, Tracy, of Scottdale, and their children, Amber and Ryan; Margaret Davis and husband, Clifford, of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., and their daughters, Emily and Melanie; Jayne Lancashire, of Derry Township, and her two sons, Jason Lancashire and wife, Dawnna, of Ligonier, and their children, Maddie and Sadie, and Will Lancashire and wife, Barb, of Peanut, and their children, Bailey and Kendra; Keith Bowser; Suzanne Scott and Kayla, of Youngstown, and Suzanne's children, Bob Yeager, of Youngstown, and his son, Vincent, and Polly Yeager, of Youngstown, and her son, Maddox; Lee Bowser, of Youngstown; Lois Eicher, of California; Joyce Sckeres, of North
Carolina; and Harry Paul Bowser.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the GAUT-BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Unity Chapel, 114 Chapel Lane, Latrobe, with the Rev. Clark R. Kerr officiating. Please go directly to the chapel. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
