Carl was born June 19, 1935, in Greensburg to Oran Andrew and Bessie Olive (McKay) Harrison.
He married Clara J. Ponsler on Aug. 26, 1956; they were married for 59 years.
He was employed with PSI/Cinergy in Franklin. He retired on Oct. 1, 1996, after 38 years of service.
Carl was a member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge No. 107, Scottish Rite and Johnson County Shriner Club, where he was a past president. He was also a Shriner Clown, known as Dr. Doolittle.
He enjoyed woodworking, going to casinos and traveling with his wife, Clara.
Carl and Clara also enjoyed ballroom and square dancing.
He is survived by his wife, Clara Harrison of Franklin; two children, Kevin Harrison(Karen) of Nineveh and Kim Facemire of Whiteland; a sister, Jean Oljace of Greensburg; four grandchildren, Carma Pagni(Enzo) of Chicago, Cassie Collins(Dustin) of Worthington, Dustin Facemire of Needham and Kayla Facemire of Whiteland, and two great-grandchildren, Trey and Nate Pagni of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Dale Harrison.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Jessen Funeral Home, Franklin Chapel, 197 E. Jefferson St. A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday with a Masonice service at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 50 E. 91st St., Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46209-4830.
