Funeral services for Virgil Snell, of 2010 N. Fifth St., who died at 6 a.m. yesterday at his residence following a prolonged illness, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Thomas C. Smith Sons funeral home, K.T. McGovern, reader, will officiate.

Burial will be in Roselawn cemetery.

Mr. Snell, an employee of the Sangamo Electric Co. for 26 years, was a member of the 25-Year club of that company. He retired two years ago.

At the time of his death, he was employed by the Napier Machine shop, 108 W. Washington St.

Surviving are his wife, Florence B.; one son, Virgil L. Snell jr.; one grandson, Ronald Craig Snell, both of Quincy, Mass.; and one sister, Mrs. Madah Mae Bullard, of Decatur.
