He was a carpenter by trade and loved gardening, reading and fishing with family and friends.
He was a Veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Jeffery and Timothy Dunlap and several sisters.
His survivors include his wife of 43 years, Ann Mitchell, Children Sherry Davis and partner Stan Davidson of Atlanta, Ga.: Quinton Dunlap and wife Karen, Of Church Hill, Tn. Deborah Meade and husband Bryan, Duffield and Brad Dunlap, Mt. Carmel, Tn. Several grandchildren, four sisters and one brother.
His wishes were to be cremated with no services.
