ROSE, Lucille B. - Of Grand Blanc, formerly of Tarpon Springs, FL, age 91, joined her beloved husband, Hugh of 70 years on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Wynwood of Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend James Kummer officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Swartz Creek United Methodist Church or Shriners Children's Hospital.
Visitation 2 - 8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Lucille was born in Detroit on August 6, 1918. Lucille was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and grandma great.
Surviving are two loving daughters, Carol Trombley of Swartz Creek, Sandra Jarrett of Waterford; four Grandchildren, Michael and wife Kathy Trombley of Grand Blanc, Kevin and wife Genelle Trombley of Brighton, Cynthia and husband Jim Disser of Marysville and Cheryl and husband Michael Sandstrom of Waterford; Known as grandma great and much loved by Bradley, Matthew, Nicole and Elizabeth Trombley, Amanda and Christopher Sandstrom, Travis and Jenna Disser; Sister-in-law Jean Lovejoy of North Carolina; Many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by husband Hugh on July 28, 2008 and two sons-in-law, Gary Jarrett and Dick Trombley.
