He was a self-employed handyman and previously worked in the insurance industry, was a paramedic and a lifeguard. Larry enjoyed boating, swimming, fishing, camping, gardening, playing the guitar, and riding his Harley.

Larry is survived by his mother, Shirley Wooten, Marion; brother, Alex Wooten, Marion; sister, Mabel (Jim) Aaron, Huntington; niece, Heather Stumbo; nephews, Daniel Johns, Noah and Mitchell Wooten; special friend, Hannah Monroe and family; and several other friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Wooten.

A funeral service for Larry will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Avenue, Marion, IN with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion, IN.
