Frances Elizabeth Turner of Madras was born in Bend, Oregon January 9, 1931 to Percy and Bertha (Gettman) Forbes. She graduated from Bend High School. Frances married Richard Turner on September 10, 1949 in Bend, Oregon. She was a homemaker and a member of Living Hope Christian Center in Madras, Oregon. Frances loved gardening, flowers, collecting purple glass. She was a devout Christian and very generous to other people. Frances would help anyone in need no matter what. She was a true Prayer warrior.
Frances is survived by her loving husband Pastor Dick Turner of Madras, her sons Dan and David Turner of Bend, Oregon, seven grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Autumn Funerals 61555 Parrell Road, Bend, Oregon from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. A Graveside service will be held Thursday, August 6, 2015 1:00 P.M. at Willamette National Cemetery 11800 S.E. Mt. Scott Blvd. Portland, Oregon. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Living Hope Christian Center 25 N.E. A Street, Madras, Oregon Sunday, August 9, 2015 3:00 P.M.
