Funeral services for Jack Weesner, 77, of Frankston were held Wednesday, Aug. 25, at 2 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Frankston, with Rev. J.A. Griffin and Rev. Bill Vick officiating.

Burial was in the Myrtle Springs Cemetery near Poynor under the direction of the Thompson Funeral Home in Jacksonville.

Mr. Weesner died Monday in a Tyler hospital after an extended illness.

He was born in Fincastle Nov. 4, 1904, and lived most of his life in Frankston. He was a Baptist and a retired farmer and service station attendant.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vera Weesner of Frankston; four sons, Mason Weesner of Teneha and Kenneth Weesner, Regan Weesner and Harold Weesner, all of Tyler; three daughters, Mrs Fayrene McDonald of Frankston, Mrs. Valena Little of Texas City, and Mrs. Frances Warren of Lindale; two brothers, Alton Weesner of Jacksonville, Wilson Weesner of Collinsville, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Lena Dunn, Mrs. Lola Houston and Mrs. Ruby Cecil, all of Frankston; 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Oneal Smith, Farris Smith, John Edward Houston, Ernest Weesner, Clem Cecil Jr. and Aubry Weesner.
