"Many of the Murray folks were grieved Sunday morning by learning of the sudden death of Mrs. Harley Reeves south of town. She had been ailing several days, but seemed better, though she gave them warning of the (illegible clause) departure to the other land. The parents, Mr. & Mrs. George Coon and the doctor were called and she told them it would not be long, when she gradually grew weaker and soon fell into a sleep that knows no waking.
It grieves us for we knew her as a noble help mate and mother. She leaves a heartbroken husband and five children to grieve their mother's goings, besides the parents whose hearts are bowed down in sorrow by the death of their only child. The time of the funeral is not yet known."
