Funeral services for Mrs. Peter Kleman, 80, former Town of Kossuth resident, who died late Tuesday morning at Maple Crest Nursing Home, Whitelaw, where she had been a patient one year, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. John Haen will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Kleman, nee Sophia Mailand, was born June 13, 1889, in Town of Manitowoc Rapids, daughter of the late George and Sophia Fischer Mailand. She was married to Peter Kleman Oct. 25, 1910, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno. They farmed in the Town of Kossuth until retiring in 1950. Mrs. Kleman was a member of Christian Mothers and Altar Society of St. Anne Church. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1960.

Survivors include her husband, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc; a son, Robert, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc; three daughters, Mrs. George (Lucille) Gosz of Rockwood, Mrs. Joseph (Violet) Brockhoff of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Reinhart (Elaine) Kubsch of Rt. 1, Kewaunee; a brother, George, of Rt. 4, Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Kuehnl and Mrs. Herman Seibert of Manitowoc; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A sister preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday where a Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. by Father Haen and the Christian Mothers and Altar Society.
