Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Cletys M. Bailey, 84, of Midland, Texas were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the Bethlehem Cemetery with Rev. B.A. Morris officiating. Mrs. Bailey died December 4, 2015 in Midland, Texas. She was born October, 6, 1931, to her parents George B. Keeling and Allie F. Cadenhead Keeling, Rt. 2, Mt. Enterprise, Texas. She was raised on the farm in the Rhodes Community, Rusk Co., and rode the school bus nine miles to school. She graduated from Mt. Enterprise High School as Salutatorian in 1949. She attended Panola Junior college, Carthage, Texas and Stephen F. Austin College, Nacogdoches, Texas. She met and later married Auvie A. Bailey. Her brother and his family encouraged her to move to Orange, Texas to get a job there. She worked for Consolidated Steel until she and Auvie married May 25, 1955 at West Orange Baptist Church in Orange. They went to Miami, Florida on their honeymoon. They lived in Nacogdoches, Midland, Baytown, and settled in Midland in September 1959. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Stanley G. Bailey of Midland, her sisters, Mary Dean Parrott, Kittie Claire Tipps, and Jeanell Prior, her brothers, Weldon B. Keeling, Robert T. Keeling. George B. Keeling, Jr.
