Inurnment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Columbus. The family asks that family and friends wear purple in Dianna's honor.

Dianna J. was born the daughter of Oliver J. "Patsy" and Patricia J. (Blawusch) Mallon on July 31, 1948, in Doylestown, Wis. She was married to Allen F. Miller. Dianna was a graduate of Fall River High School. She was employed as a CNA at Central Colony in Madison for 23 years until her retirement.

Dianna was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Columbus. Her hobbies included sewing, knitting, crocheting, cooking and gardening. Dianna also had a love of owl and frog collectables. She enjoyed watching the Packers. In her spare time, her biggest joy was spending time with and spoiling her son. Dianna loved to spend time with her granddaughter Morgan, especially watching movies on Grandma's big screen TV.

Dianna is survived by her son Matt (Michelle) Miller of Columbus; her granddaughter Morgan Michelle Miller of Columbus; her mother-in-law Doris "Cookie" Miller of Columbus; seven siblings David (Cindy) Mallon, Charmaine (Larry) Jewell, Sherri Mudd, Bernie "Bull" (Jayne) Mallon, Jim (Sheri) Mallon, Melody (Rick) Schaaf, and Dawn (Karl) Naumann; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Michelle and her brother-in-law Whiff Mudd.

On behalf of the family, we give a warm thank you to Dr. Charles Hansell. He has been Dianna's dedicated physician for years. We also extend our appreciation to the caregivers and nurses from REM Home Health. Your passion and dedication to Dianna was incredible. You were not only her caregivers and nurses; you became friends to our family. To our friends and family members who helped provide Dianna care so we could get respite for special events, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you to Heidi Wallace from CCH for providing our family with years of support and for always going the extra mile to make sure Dianna had the best care possible. To the staff at CCH for taking wonderful care of Dianna.

Thank you to the kind and wonderful team at the "At Home Again." We appreciate you providing Dianna and our family a peaceful place to come to during Dianna's final days. Words cannot express our gratitude to St. Jude's Hospice for caring for Dianna in her special moment of life. A special thank you to Diane Cushman from St. Jude's who stayed with my wife and mom and helped make sure that her journey to heaven was peaceful. I give a special thank you to my wife Michelle. Because of her kindness and love, I was able to fulfill my promise of keeping my mom at home for her last years. Thank you to all.
