Dr. Dean W. Larson died September 3, 2015 of complications following surgery. He was born in Kennebec, South Dakota on July 15, 1956, the youngest child of John and Flora Larson.
He attended high school in Chamberlain, SD where he was class valedictorian. After graduation from The University of South Dakota in Vermillion, he attended the Sanford Medical School. Dr. Larson did his residency in ophthalmology at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cleveland and a fellowship in oculoplastics. Upon completing his fellowship he moved to Fort Myers in 1990 where he had a successful practice in eyelid plastic surgery.
