In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his late wife Dixie Skipper Hyman; a sister, Linda Gale Skipper.
Mr. Hyman was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed.
He enjoyed fishing and NASCAR. Donald was one of the founding members of Damascus Freewill Baptist Church.
Mr. Hyman is survived by his father, Henry Freeman Hyman of Conway; his wife, Brenda Joyce Stalvey Hyman of the home; two daughters, Cindy Hardwick (Kirk) of Conway and Donza Mattison (Keith) of Spartanburg; two brothers, Everette Hyman (Mary) of Conway and Thurman Hyman (Jeanette) of NC; three sisters, Barbara Wise (Carl) of Aynor, Marilyn Squires (Charles) of Conway and Rhonda Hucks (Leverne) of Conway; brother in law, Horace Skipper; four grandchildren, Josh Hardwick, Reid Hardwick, Emily Mattison and Rebecca Mattison and many other family and friends who will miss him.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Paul Hyman and Dr. Tommy Bryson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10am until 11:00am prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery.
