Found in The State 02 January 1940: Mrs. Alice Allen Entzminger, 77, of 4415 Ensor avenue, died at 5:30 yesterday afternoon at her home following an illness of several years. Her husband, W. F. Entzminger, died in 1936. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 o'clock this afternoon from Talbert's Funeral home by the Rev. L. G. Payne, pastor of Eau Clair Baptist church. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery. She is survived by one daughter, Miss Louise Entzminger of Columbia; three sons, T. C. Entzminger of Columbia, James F. Entzminger of Charlotte and R. K. Entzminger of Orlando, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. John McCaa of Columbia, Mrs. Bertha Hutchinson of Quincy, Fla., and Mrs. J. K. McLeod of Rembert. Mrs. Entzminger was a member of Eau Claire Baptist church.
