Obituary of Jeanette Clayton Poole
Jeanette Clayton Poole, age 85, of Poole Rd, Troy died Friday, December 4, 2015 at her residence.
Mrs. Poole was born July 27, 1930 at Troy, the daughter of Zeb I and Annie Mae Causey Clayton.
She was a member of First Wesleyan Church of Troy. She was a former Certified Nursing Assistant and a former employee of WesCare.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Silas Poole, brothers: Ralph Clayton, Edgar Clayton and Zebulon Clayton; sisters: Florence Morris, Sadie Clayton, Marie Mullinix, Thelma Mullinix, Ruby Myrick and Ruth Kennedy.
She is survived by two daughters: Ann Byrd (Johnny) of Greensboro and Jo Haywood of Mt. Gilead; grandchildren: John Byrd of Cary, Dawn Weeks (Lee) of Dawsonville, GA, Amy Byrd of Summerfield and Darrin Haywood (Lyndsey) of Mt. Airy; 9 great-grandchildren, known to them as Grandma Nette'.
The family will receive friends Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 2-3 pm at First Wesleyan Church, 1368 NC Hwy 134N, Troy. Funeral services will follow at 3 pm with Dr. Ed Lindsey and David Paul Grigg officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
