Motorcycle racer. Walter Frederick Rusk was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. In 1934 he finished second in the European 350cc championship. In the Isle of Man TT races he finished 2nd once and won two 3rd places. He also raced in the German and Swiss GPs in 1935. In 1939 he was the first rider to lap the Ulster Grand Prix circuit at 100mph on the ill-handling AJS supercharged V4. He joined the RAF in 1939 and whilst training to become a pilot, unexpectedly died of pneumonia.
