TAYLOR, Erma – of Davison, age 100, passed away February 14, 2014 at Melody Brookwood. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Richfield Church of the Nazarene, 7524 E. Mt. Morris Rd., Otisville; Pastor Jan Duce officiating. A private burial will be in Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be 2- 4 PM and 6-8 PM Monday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Richfield Church of the Nazarene or Davison United Methodist Church.
Erma was born in Clio, MI on May 5, 1913, daughter of the late Worth and Alice (Williams) Welch. She married Lawson H. Taylor and he preceded her in death. Erma was a loving mother and grandmother.
Erma is survived by her children, Robert L. (Joyce) Taylor and Diane M. (Dale) Diehl; grandchildren, Kathleen (Ralph) Grambusch, Sally (Chris) Clarke, Kari (Jason) Hoyt, Amy (Dave) Vernier, Kim Patzwall, Robert Patzwall and Joel Patzwall; great-grandchildren, Greg Grambusch, Andrew Grambusch, Nolan Grambusch, Simon Straub, Alisson Hoyt, Jayden Hoyt, Amanda Patzwall, David Patzwall and Chelsea Patzwall. She was preceded in death by siblings, John (Wesley) Welch and Naomi (Welch) Hart. The family would like to thank the staff of Melody Brookwood for their loving care.
