Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Concordia with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at National Cemetery in Leavenworth, KS. Born May 22, 1934 in Kansas City, she was the daughter of the late August Brandt and Viola Stevens Brandt. Wilma was raised in the Kansas City area where she was a 1952 graduate of East High School. On ___________________, _____ she married Harold Lee Willis who preceded her in death on June 7, 1990. Wilma lived in Concordia from 1973 until 2000, and was office manager for Don Dittmer’s State Farm Insurance Agency. While in Concordia she was active in various clubs, including Four Square Club, volunteered with the Meals on Wheels program and Lutheran Good Shepherd Home, and was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ. Wilma was also a proud member of Ducks Unlimited. In 2000, she moved to Blue Springs, and then later to Columbia.
Survivors include four children: Cheryl Hackmann and husband Rick of Olathe, KS, Gary Willis and wife Melanie of Augusta, KS, Jerry Willis of Clinton, MO, and Gail McCray and husband Burke of Columbia, MO; six grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Catherine Mais.
