Formerly of Pleasant Hills, Wilmington passed away peacefully on December 1, 2015 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.
Patricia was born in Elkton, MD, the daughter of Jeanne (Barnett) and the late Ernest McCulley. She was a 1958 graduate of Elkton High School and worked for over 30 years for Avon Products, Inc. before retiring. Her hobbies and memberships included the Stanton-Newport Little League in the 1970's, the Warwick Park Divas and the Indian River Yacht Club, where she was very active. Pat really enjoyed fishing with her late husband, Paul who passed away in 2008. She was also predeceased by her father and her sister, Helen McCulley Weller.
Pat is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Carol and John Calderone of Wilmington and Jeanne and Paul Polries of West Chester, PA; her grandchildren, Jason and Jessica Calderone of Wilmington, Allison Polries of East Troy, WI and Erin Polries of West Chester, PA; her mother, Jeanne McCulley of Elkton, MD; her sister and spouse, Sherry and Jon Bakeoven of Elkton, MD; her brothers, Donald McCulley of Elkton and Bill McCulley and his wife Sharon of Ormond Beach, FL and many nieces, nephews, cousins and in laws.
The family would like to especially thank Pat's sister-in-law, Ruth Bourdon who helped care for her with Carol and Jeanne.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 7, 2015 at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington at 11 AM, where friends may call after 9:30 AM. Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to either the Tunnel Cancer Center, 18947 John J. Williams Hwy., Ste. 101, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 or Delaware Hospice, 16 Polly Drummond Center, Newark, DE 19711.
