Clifford "Red" Farmer
July 19, 1933 - December 2, 2015
Clifford "Red" Farmer Sr. entered the Kingdom of Heaven December 2nd, 2015 with his loving family by his side.
Red believed in the Pentecostal faith. He served his family as a loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather. He worked underground to support his young family as a Coal Miner for 14 years. He later worked and retired from the Harlan County Road Department after 30 years. Red was loved by the Wallins Community and was known to make his daily rounds to check in on family and close friends. He dearly loved his family and most of all Flossie, his loving wife of 60 years. He will be greatly missed by so many.
Mr. Farmer is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Farmer and Catherine Gambrel Farmer. One Son, James David "Jimbo" Farmer. One Grandson, Nicholas Garrett Greene. Brothers, James G Farmer, Robert Farmer Jr., Vernon Farmer, Thomas R Farmer, and Franklin D. Farmer. Sisters Opal Panaccio, Jean Patrick, and Nora Farmer
He is survived by his loving Wife, Flossie Scott Farmer. Brother Britton Farmer. Sisters, Vina Farmer Duncan and Betty Sue (Peter) Scott. Son, Clifford "Snook" Farmer. Daughter Terry (Jack) Greene, Granddaughters, Mandy Farmer and Dottie Jo Farmer. Great Grandsons Rex Laughlin and Max Laughlin. Step Granddaughter Lynn Toups. Also a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be December 5th,2015 at the Bannerfork Pentecostal Church in Wallins Creek, Ky from 5pm until 8pm with the Funeral following at 8pm. Don Thomas and Ronnie Brock will be officiating. Graveside services will be Sunday December 6th, at 1pm at Park Howard Cemetery in Wallins, Ky.
