Rhonda June Walters, age 67, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday October 17, 2016. She was a long time employee of Belew Drugs for over thirty years. She will be greatly missed and will live on in the hearts on those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by parents, James and Nancy Beeler; and nephew, James Rigsby. Left to keep her memory alive is daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Jonathan Witherspoon; granddaughter, Allison Walters; sisters, Jeanie Beeler, and Linda Rigsby; special nieces, Jennifer Douglas, Kyleigh Douglas, Janice Rigsby and husband Tom McManamy, Rachel Rigsby; adopted daughter, Kimberly Fraley Carpenter; and many cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 20, 2016, at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Dean Braden officiating. The family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m., Friday October 21, 2016, at New Gray Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. interment service. . In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude, (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105), or Shriners Hospitals for Children , (2900 Rocky Pint Dr., Tampa, FL 33607).
