Doris Dean (Selvidge) Graves - age 79, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 02, 2015 peacefully at home after a hard battle with cancer. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Maynardville. Doris was an employee of the Union County Sheriff’s Department. She was retired from the United States Postal Service and the Union County School System. Doris is preceded in death by daughter, Sandy Reagan Graves; Parents: Ernest & Beulah (Hubbs) Selvidge; Brothers: E.L. Selvidge, Clyde Selvidge; Sisters: Evelyn Haney Wright & Jean Key. Survived by: Husband of 57 years, Coy Graves; Daughters: Debbie Graves McMahan, Colleen (Denny) Beeler; Sons: Jack (Lynn) Reagan, Coy Robert II (Melissa) Graves; as well as a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2015 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will immediately follow at 8:00 p.m. with Reverend Jimmy Davidson & Reverend Greg Sharp officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:15 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Trinity Funeral Home to go in procession to Monroe Cemetery for a 1:00 p.m. interment service. Pallbearers: Matt McMahan, Dean Beeler, Chance Graves, Heath Helton, Michael Seal, Josh Cottrell. Honorary pallbearers: Union County Sheriff’s Department.
