Helen E. Baertschy, age 92, formerly of 2004 Sharon Lane, Manitowoc died early Thursday morning, December 3, 2015 at Scandinavian Court Assisted Living in Denmark.
Cremation will take place with burial of her cremated remains to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Helen Evans was born on November 20, 1923 in Kankakee, IL, daughter of the late Henry and Ingvelde (Barginde) Evans. She attended high school in Kankakee, IL and attended the Art Institute of Chicago. On March 1, 1952 she married Chadwick Baertschy in Chicago, IL. The couple moved to Manitowoc on August 1, 1988. Chadwick preceded her in death on October 27, 1997.
