Cynthia Ann Morgan was born in Boone County, Ind., March 22, 1839. She came with her parents to Hancock County, Ill., when ten years of age.
She was married to Richard Harding, October 12, 1854. To this union was born six children, three of whom preceded her to the beyond. The surviving children are Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Harding of Lone Wolf, Robert A. Harding of Altus, and Ida M. Dunlap, of Blackwell, Okla. She also has four surviving brothers.
She came with her husband to Woodward County, Okla., in 1896 and from there to Lone Wolf in 1902. She was a member of the Christian Church for some 45 years and lived a consistent Christian life.
She died at Mangum, Okla., Feb. 23, 1917 at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Elmer V. Jesse.
Funeral services were held at the First M.E. Church at Lone Wolf conducted by Rev. O.W. York. Interment was in the Lone Wolf cemetery.
