VIVIAN (LOMBARD) LESTER, age 86 of Plain City, passed away December 1, 2015 in her home. She was born March 29, 1929 in Columbus, Ohio. A lifetime member of the Plain City Presbyterian Church. A member of both the Plain City Daughters of the American Revolution and the Daughters of the American Colonist. Vivian dedicated her life to caring for her granddaughter, Tara, along with the rest of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, Asa & Esther (Worthington) Lombard; husband, Paul H. Lester; sisters, Maxine White and Charlotte Kaufman Boerger.
She is survived by her children, Jennie (Larry) Lester, Paul M. “Mick” Lester; grandchildren, Michael Crager, Michelle Crager-Hall, Jerod Lester, Tara (Bryan) Becker; great grandchildren, Aaron Wilson, Kirstin Phillips, Madison Hall, Scott Crager, Jordan Daniel, Tristin Lester.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, Friday at Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St. (St. Rt. 161 W) Plain City. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday December 5, 2015 the Plain City Presbyterian Church, 231 E. Main St. (St. Rt. 161 W.) with Rev. Alice Phillips officiating. Burial in Forest Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Plain City Presbyterian Church.
