Terry L. Fritz, 71, of Scranton, died Saturday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital after an illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara McCarthy. Born Oct. 1, 1944, in Stroudsburg, son of the late Edgar and Margaret Cramer Fritz, he was an Air Force veteran serving from 1965 until 1968. Before his retirement, Terry was employed as a materials specialist at the Tobyhanna Army Depot. Terry was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Gilbert; and brother, Donald B. Fritz. Visitation and military honors will be conducted Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon in the Howard J. Snowdon Funeral Home, 1810 Sanderson Ave., Scranton. Interment will follow in Swiftwater Cemetery, Pocono Twp.
