Edward Helstrom Fort Fairfield 68. Died 10-10-1987 at a Caribou hospital, after a brief illness. He was born 2-5-1919 in Perham the son of the late Elmer and Eva (Wark) Helstrom. He attended Perham schools and was a veteran of the US Army, having served during WWII. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church of Fort Fairfield. He was married to Elouise Giggey 6-28-1946. He was engaged in farming in Fort Fairfield for many yrs. until his retirement. He is survived by his wife, 4 sons, Gary, Galen, Gregory and Gene Helstron and 1 daughter, Mrs. Galen (Gail) Wortman, all of Fort Fairfield, 1 brother, Russell of Caribou, 2 sisters, Mrs. Mitchell (Ruth) Wakem of Caribou and Marg Roy of Bingham, 7 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 2 step grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Burial Riverside cemetery.
