TALLADEGA, Ala. - Mrs. Georgia "Lori" Hopkins, 46-year-old former Vinita resident, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2002 at Citizens BMC in Talladega, following an extended illness.
Lori was born October 1, 1955 in Vinita, Okla., to Clarence Raymond Martin and Shirley Mae (Eubanks) Martin.
Mrs. Hopkins is survived by her mother, Shirley Martin, of Vinita; her husband, Arthur Hopkins, of Pell City, Ala.; one daughter, Desiree Hopkins, of Vinita; three sons, Jefferson LaMountain and wife, Stacy, of Talladega, Arthur Hopkins, II, and wife, Aireka, of Sunrise Beach, Mo., and David Bava; one sister, Cheryl Woolman of Vinita; one brother, Audie Martin of Vinita; three sisters-in-law, Jean Hopkins of Vinita, Patricia King of Eucha, Okla., and Kammy Martin of Vinita; two brothers-in-law, Earl Hopkins and Cecil Woolman, both of Vinita; eight grandchildren, Bryan, Dakota, Raven and Noah LaMountain, Hannah Hopkins, and Heaven, Alley and Destiny Bava.
She was preceded in death by her father and an infant brother.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 26, at the Burckhalter Memorial Chapel. Mr. Frank Hopkins will officiate. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, August 25, at the Burckhalter Funeral Home.
Services are under the direction of Burckhalter Funeral Home.
