Clayton Francis Fisher, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at home, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 14, 1927 in Fond du Lac, a son of George and Sadie (Dellger) Fisher. Clayton graduated from Goodrich High School. On August 30, 1952, he married Rose Ann Faeh at St. John, the Baptist Church in Woodhull. Clayton was a life-long farmer and loved to travel. He was a quiet, gentle and hardworking Christian man. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Clayton was a bowler and card player. He enjoyed all sports and gardening. Clayton had a determined spirit, which helped him overcome numerous hardships during his 11-year health struggle. Clayton is survived by his wife, Rose; two sons Michael (Cheri) and Thomas (Sandy); three daughters LuAnn Urban, Julie (Michael) Krueger and Sue (Tim) Hassett; grandchildren Chad (Tiffany) Fisher, Kyle (Shawn) Fisher, Shaun Fisher, Alisha (Eric) Abitz, Stephanie (Larry) Duford, Megan (Aris) Urban, Eric Urban, Ashley (Zach) Caspary, Amanda (Brian) Fryman and Brooke (Collin) Floeter; step-grandchildren Melissa (Levi) Fry and Brad Hassett; great grandchildren Gwendolyn, Carson, Caleb, Jack, Stella, Francis, Sage, Mason, Parker, Chase, Kennedy and Landon; step-great grandchildren Carson, Ava, Landon and Livia.He is further survived by two brothers, Darwin Fisher and Clifford Fisher, three sisters, Ruth Lauerman, Dolores Fogarty and Jean Costello, a brother-in-law, Gerald (Pam) Faeh, two sisters-in-law, Pauline Lacoste and Hattie Bakula, one son-in-law, Michael Urban, nieces, nephews and friends.Clayton was preceded in death by his parents, George and Sadie Fisher, parents-in-law, Alois and Anna Faeh, sister, Marcella (Ed) Kelley, and two brothers, Gordon (Genevieve) Fisher and James Fisher, brothers-in-law John Lauerman, John Fogerty, Leo Costello, John (Marie) Faeh, Wallace Lacoste and Paul Bakula and sisters-in-law Rita Fisher and Cecelia Fisher.Visitation: Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 9:00 to 10:45 AM at Our Risen Savior Catholic Church, Woodhull. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Our Risen Savior Church, Woodhull. Rev. Joseph Dominic will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
