He was born on November 6, 1953 in Anderson to Max and Jean (Jones) Jarvis. He was graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School-Class of 1972.
Ron served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged as a sergeant in 1976. He worked in electronics and computers all of his life.
Survivors: Son-Todd (Sarah) Jarvis-Frankton Daughter-Amy Reed-Anderson 9 Grandchildren-Brock Phillips, BrieAnna Reeves, Brayden Waymire, Brogan Waymire, Mason Jarvis, Emily Jarvis, Ethan Jarvis, Ella Jarvis and Nathan Mikesell 3 sisters-Sandra Pardue and Tammy (Scott) Seegraves all of Frankton, Deborah Sheward-Anderson Brother-Randy (Tracy) Jarvis-Lebanon, Tennessee Several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Ronald Eric Jarvis.
Services honoring Ron's life and legacy will take place at 1 pm on Friday, December 4, 2015 in the Owens Funeral Home, 412 North Harrison Street, Alexandria with Pastor Garry Hill officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
Friends may call at the Owens Funeral Home after 11 am prior to the services.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Lung Association through the funeral home.
