Aberdeen - Justin R. Shaw, 27, Fort Collins, Colo., formerly of Aberdeen died, Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2006, at Fort Collins as a result of a car accident.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, First United Methodist Church, 502 S. Lincoln Street, Rev. Eldon Reich officiating. Burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Miller-Huebl Funeral Home, Tuesday, 3 - 7 p.m. and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to noon, and at the church one hour prior to service.

Justin Raymond Shaw was born to Dan and ZoAnn (Alm) Shaw on Aug. 17, 1979, at Aberdeen. He attended school at Aberdeen and graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in 1998. He then worked for Dahme Construction prior to moving to Fort Collins. While in Colorado he was an employee in a construction business as well as sales and service in communications.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He loved hiking, music, being with friends, the Washington Redskins football team, viewing athletic events, and playing racquetball.

Justin loved and adored all his family and friends. Justin is survived by his grandparents who raised him: Duane and Sunnie Alm; one brother: Jamie Shaw; one sister: Brittany Shaw; father: Dan Shaw; one stepsister: Allison Shaw, all of Aberdeen; special friend Chelsie Redfern and her daughter Mia of Fort Collins, Colo.; uncle Todd (Ruth) Alm of Wasilla, Ark., Kent (Betsy) Alm of Aberdeen, and Alan and Anna Shaw of Milgrove, Wis.; aunt Beth (Brian) Versluys of Aberdeen; cousins: Kara and Katie Alm of Aberdeen; Matthew and Christopher Shaw of Milgrove, Wis.; and maternal great-grandmother: Mabel Alm of Edina, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his mother: ZoAnn, paternal grandparents: Inga and John Shaw and great-grandparents: Glen Alm and Orlo and Vivian Christofferson.

Honorary casketbearers will be all of his close friends.

Active casketbearers will be his brother, Jamie Shaw, and other casketbearers will be Seth Miller, Jeremy Brown, Charlie Faber, Nick Fischer, Aaron Phillips, and Rich Banker.
