Gerald Emery Graves, 65 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015.

Gerald was born on June 16, 1950 in French Lick, IN. He was a retired Industrial Electrician with Knauf Fiberglass in Shelbyville,IN. Gerald was a member of the Henryville United Methodist Church, Charlestown V.F.W. Post 1427, Clark County Tea Party Patriots and was an Army Veteran and Bronze Star recipient during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda; son, Timothy of Charlestown; mother, Rose Dieterlen of Otisco; sisters, Carol Dieterlen(Maurice) of Otisco, IN, Deloris Gibbons of Tennessee and Rosetta Adams(Allen) of New Albany, IN; brothers, Russell Dieterlen(Kay) of Otisco, IN and Kevin Graves(Jo) of New Albany, IN; several nieces and nephews.

Gerald was preceded in death by his, father, Forrest Graves; step-father, Oliver Russell Dieterlen; sister, Frances Crawley; brother, Richard Graves.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Thursday until time of services.
