Funeral services for Larry Hubert Whittington will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 3, 2015 in the Camp 8 Pentecostal Church with Reverend Sam Russell officiating.

Military rites will be conducted by the United States Naval Honor Guard.

Committal service will follow in the Camp 8 Cemetery under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Alexandria.

Larry, 64, of Alexandria, entered eternal rest on Monday, November 30, 2015 in the Grace Home of Alexandria. He was born December 23, 1950 in Alexandria to the union of Hubert and Ada Bell (Branch) Whittington.

He was a Pentecostal by Faith and worked at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in the boiler room. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was a loving brother, uncle, and friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his sister, Anita Cedars of Alexandria; his niece, Iris Leet of Alexandria; his great niece, Sommer (Mike) Gregson of St. Francisville; and host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held in the Camp 8 Pentecostal Church on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 8 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m.
