Jimmy E. Perkins was born February 6, 1956 and departed this life Tuesday, November 24, 2015 reaching the age of 59 years. He was the son of the late Jimmy and Elizabeth Beth (Downs) Perkins.
He is survived by: his wife, Rita Gaye (Brown) Perkins; three sons, Jimmy, Jerry, and Travis Perkins; one daughter, Tracy Barnes; and two grandchildren, Cayden McClellan and Jaxson Perkins. He is also survived by: one brother, Jerry Perkins; and three sisters, Sharon Phillips, Cookie Bertram, and Joyce Owens; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy and Elizabeth Perkins, he was preceded in death by: one daughter, Brooklyn Perkins; and one sister, Teresa Perkins.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 10am at the Alexander Cemetery. Burial will follow in the Alexander Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Jimmy Perkins Memorial Fund, c/o the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home
