On October 14, 1961 in Moatsville, West Virginia, she married Joseph J. Ritter who preceded her in death. Surviving are her daughters, Delores (Dave) Brown of La Porte, Vivian Mellott of Christensburg, VA; step-son, Fred Ritter of La Plata, MD; 6 grandchildren, Lori Plank, Jay Mellott, William Mellott, James Thorne, Sheryl Thorne, Patricia Thorne; 15 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Ritter; brothers, Alfred Walzel, Franz Walzel; and sister, Brunhilde Knott.
Angela was a very hardworker who loved flowers and cats.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later time George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, Md. 20745.
Interment will take place at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery in Marlboro, MD.
