He was a member of Cuba Baptist Church, a member of Iron Workers Local #22, and a retired Iron Worker.
Mr. Huffman is survived by his wife of 35 years, Wanda Wilkins Gay Huffman; two sons, Randy (Diane) Huffman of Greenfield, IN and Gary Lynn (Debbie) Huffman of Indianapolis, IN; one step-son, Scott Hestand of Mayfield, KY; one step-daughter, Debbie (Johnny) Colson of Hazel, KY; one sister, Wanda Sue (Don) Peterson of Indianapolis, IN; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Pauline Huffman; and one brother, Joe Huffman.
A memorial service for Mr. Jerry E. Huffman will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
Rev. Bob Waldridge will officiate. Interment will follow in the Cuba Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the funeral home.
