Lissie (Lizzie) Carter Acree, daughter of Nancy Matilda Jones Moore Carter and Mr. Carter (remembered as Joe "Deacon" but not sure exactly what his name was nor where he is buried). Lissie died when Andon was still quite young and his Dad then married Tina Carter Hodge. The place of Lissie's burial is thought to be Acree Cemetery, Point, LA where her family is buried; however, no grave stone can be found. There were older graves in the cemetery which had rocks for markers but are no longer there and no one knows whose graves they were marking.
Lissie was one of my Grandpa's sister .The place she was laid to rest is unknown .Her husband remarried and was laid to rest in Acree ,so maybe she was too. Her son is Andon Henry Acree Find A Grave Memorial# 100378986
