Goreville - Bernard Arthur Dyson, age 78, formerly of LaGrange, died at 10:05 pm April 16, 2000 at Friendship Care Nursing Home in Marion. He was a retired Manager of Custom Drapery's. He was an Army veteran of World War II, member of the Freewill Baptist Church and member of the American Legion. Graveside services will be in Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Kevin McNeely officiating. Burial with military rites will be accorded.
He was born September 8, 1921 in Ontario Canada to Mack Wellington and Anna Gagnon Dyson. Survivors include daughters, Carol Ann Dyson of Glen Ellyn and Kathryn Ann Stencel of Elmhurst, one grandchild, Angelo Zenofio of Carol Stream, brothers, Arthur of Holiday FL and Joseph of Norridge and sisters, Corrine Fasshauer of Norridge and Elizabeth Stokes of Chandler AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Thomas Arthur Dyson and brother Gerald Dyson.
