Mrs. Hust was a native of North Dakota. She married Gottlieb Hust in 1918 and the couple came to Lodi in 1921. Mr. Hust started the G.G. Hust & Sons Plubing business in Lodi in 1946 and Mrs. Hust was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lodi and enjoyed cooking.
Mrs. Hust was preceded in death by her husband in 1955. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Arthur Hust and Clifford Hust; one daughter, Violet Hust; three brothers, Jake Leicht, George Leicht and Edward Leicht and one sister, Rose Cousins.
She is survived by two sons; one brother and one sister, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
