Ira Druckenmiller, 66, husband of Sallie Leibensperger Druckenmiller, died yesterday morning at his home, 224 N. Jefferson St., following a lengthy illness. He was born June 3, 1885, in Upper Milford Township, the son of the late Tilghman and Barbara Frey Druckenmiller. A carpenter by trade, he was employed by A. P. Houser, Emmaus contractor. He was a member of Zions Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old Zionsville; the Emaus Nest of Owls and Washington Camp, POSA, of Emmaus. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Edna, wife of Ralph Richards, Emmaus; Naomi, wife of LeRoy Schneck, Allentown; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Frank Druckenmiller, Kutztown; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie DeLong, Emmaus, and Mrs. Warren Johnson, Reading. Also surviving are two step-children, Laura, wife of Ulysses Adams, Allentown; and Clarence Leibensperger, Northampton. Druckenmiller's first wife, Gertie Weiss Druckenmiller, died 28 years ago.
