Funeral services for Sandra Sue Gunn, 69, of Butler, will be held on Thursday at 2:00 pm at Heritage Baptist Church, Reynolds, GA. Burial will follow in the Gunn Family Cemetery.
Sue passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Upson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Boseman Rodgers and Beulah Mae Dearringer Rodgers; a daughter, Terry Kay Gunn; and a brother, Herman B. Rodgers.
Survivors include her husband, Clyde G. Gunn, Jr., of Butler; one son, James Gunn of Pensacola, FL; one daughter, Dena Wilson and husband Terry of Jacksonville, FL; one sister, Rebecca Donaldson of Augusta; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Rodgers of Grovetown, GA and Barbara Jane Harris and husband Richard of Colorado Springs, CO; two grandchildren, James Wilkinson and wife Christie and Jessica Ashby; one great-grandson, Ayden James Wilkinson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
McLeighton Funeral Service of Butler is in charge of arrangements.
