WEST FRANKFORT -- Charlotte Jean Clements, 77, of West Frankfort died Friday, Aug. 10, 2001, at Franklin Skilled Care in Benton. Mrs. Clements was born Sept. 8, 1923, in Mishawaka, Ind., a daughter of Emiel and Felicia (Patnaude) Dooms. Mrs. Clements was Catholic and worked as a secretary in the school systems. She married Richard Caskey who died Aug. 12, 1954. She later married David R. Weston who died July 2, 1971. She married Charles Clements on Feb. 28, 1976, in Christopher. She is survived by her husband, Charles Clements of West Frankfort; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert Caskey of Denver, Colo. Kevin and Tammy Weston of Zeigler and Mike Weston of Zeigler; granddaughter, Megan Weston of Zeigler; stepsons, Terry Clements of West Frankfort, John Clements and wife, Debbie, of West Frankfort; stepdaughters, Katherine Hall and husband, Ray, of Herrin, Rebecca Clements of West Frankfort; 10 stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Her parents and two brothers, including her twin brother, Robert, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. today, Monday, Aug. 13, 2001, at Stone Funeral Home, with Father Brian Barker officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery at Benton. Visitation for the friends of the Charlotte Clements family will be until the time of services today at Stone Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Frankfort Public Library or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
