AULANDER Patricia Harmon Byrum, 65, a native of Hertford County, died August 15, 2006 at Autumn Care of Rich Square. She was the widow of Johnny Byrum. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Aulander Cemetery by the Rev. Lester Jarrett. Massey Funeral Home, Aulander, is in charge. Mrs. Byrum was a seamstress in a sewing plant and a member of Christian Harbor Church, Harrellsville. Survivors include a daughter, Linda B. Respess of Hopewell, Va.; sisters, Jessie H. Hodges of Murfreesboro, Hazel H. Parker and Sallie H. McDaniel, both of Roxobel and Judith H. Evans of Aulander; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.
