Ralph Lucas 95, of Mt. Salem, passed away Nov. 23, 2015 at home. Born March 11, 1920 in Mt. Salem, he was the son of the late James Walter and Loretta Estes Lucas.

He was a farmer and a member of the Mt. Salem Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army, and was a World War Two veteran.

He was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters; Ray, Jessie, Davie, Major, Stella, Holly, Carrie, Geneva, and Laura.

He is survived by his special friend Gladys Diaz, and her sons, Ronald and Billy Corhn, and several nieces and nephews.

Service at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home, by Brother Kevin Pittman. Burial at Estes Cemetery with Military Rites by Caswell Saufley Post 18 of The American Legion.

Pallbearers; Jake, Josh, Jordan and Jared Harrell, and Allen Murphy.
