CAPRON, Va. - James Wilson Futrell, 85, a native of Potecasi, died August 13, 2006, at his residence. He was the widower of Virginia Fuller Futrell. Futrell was an Army veteran of the Pacific Theater during World War II. Survivors include his son, J. Wilson Futrell Jr. of Chesapeake; and one brother, Milton T. Futrell. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins. Memorials may be made to Courtland Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 439, Courtland, VA 23837.
